The interface of worst practices

Its not like Im going to find another app to read Dark Horse Comics, so DH can enjoy its monopoly. But perhaps they could follow some normal iPad interface best practices. Im actually not sure how to get back to the home screen. Is it one tap? Two? A slightly encouraging screen poke? Its certainly not a pinch or swipe down.

Sigh. If I had any intention of ever buying a hard copy comic, Id be able to avoid this app. But I cant.
